South Cotswolds – Notice of Election
The deadline to submit nominations is 4pm on Friday 7 June at we will know the final list of candidates at that point.
Poll cards will be sent to all registered electors around 6 June.
Anyone who is not on the register can apply online at www.gov.uk/register-to-vote by the deadline of midnight on Tuesday 18 June.
Postal votes will be sent out between 17 and 21 June and need to be returned to this office by 10pm on election day. Postal votes can be handed in at this office or a polling station, however, new rules mean that the person delivering the packs will need to complete a “handing in” form. More information about this is included in the postal vote packs.
Anyone wishing to vote by post who doesn’t already have one in place, can register online at www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote by the deadline of 5pm on Wednesday 19 June.
For anyone wishing to vote by proxy the deadline to apply is 5pm on Wednesday 26 June and this can be online at www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
If anyone needs a paper application form for registration, postal or proxy voting, please contact this office and we will post them out.
